The highly anticipated New Mount Zion Baptist Church Spring REVIVAL will be held Tuesday, May 26 – Thursday, May 28. Dr. Lester J. Gillespie - Pastor of Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church, San Antonio - will be the evangelist. Come out and receive a blessing.
NMZ will host the City-Wide Brotherhood Program on Sunday, May 31 at 3:00 p.m.
The final Vacation Bible School planning meeting will be held on Monday, June 1 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel (Educational Building). We are in need of teachers, workers, and helpers to assist with VBS.
Vacation Bible School will be held Monday, June 15 – Friday, June 19, 6:30 p.m. nightly. There are classes for all ages (2-100). The Church Picnic will be held on Saturday, June 20, 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Lake Highlands North Recreation Center.
Attention High School Graduating Class of 2015! Please pick up a copy of the NMZ Scholarship Application in Min. James Pruitt’s office or contact the church for an application. The deadline for submitting completed applications is June 14.
SAVE THE DATE: Friday, June 26 – Sunday, June 28 - All ladies are invited to the Women’s Annual Day activities.
The Young Adult Ministry (on behalf of City Square) will collect men’s, women’s, and children’s clothes, shoes, belts, and purses for the homeless throughout the month of June on Sundays and Wednesdays (only). Donors may see Sis. Veronica Brown if a receipt is needed for tax purposes.
